To be eligible to sign up for a subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic, you must (i) have an active NFL+ or NFL+ Premium subscription, and (ii) have subscribed to NFL+ or NFL+ Premium via the web (NFL.com on desktop or mobile web). If you subscribed to NFL+ or NFL+ Premium through the NFL App or a connected TV (CTV) application, you may see headlines, excerpts, thumbnails, or other previews of content from NFL Reporting from The Athletic on NFL.com desktop or mobile web, but this content is not available with your current NFL+ subscription, and you are not currently eligible to purchase the NFL Reporting from The Athletic subscription or access its full content.

Does the billing cycle for NFL Reporting from The Athletic have to match my NFL+ or NFL+ Premium billing cycle?
Yes. If your NFL+ or NFL+ Premium subscription is billed monthly, your NFL Reporting from The Athletic subscription will be billed monthly. If your NFL+ or NFL+ Premium subscription is billed annually, your NFL Reporting from The Athletic subscription will be billed annually. You cannot select a different billing frequency for your NFL Reporting from The Athletic subscription.
Can I sign up for an NFL Reporting from The Athletic subscription at any time? What happens if I sign up for a subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic in the middle of my NFL+ billing cycle?
Yes, if you subscribed to NFL+ or NFL+ Premium via the web (NFL.com on desktop or mobile web), you can sign up for a subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic at any time. If you sign up for a subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic in the middle of your NFL+ or NFL+ Premium billing cycle, your first charge for your NFL Reporting from The Athletic subscription will be prorated. You will be charged only for the remaining days until your next NFL+ or NFL+ Premium renewal date. After that, your NFL Reporting from The Athletic subscription will renew on the same date as your NFL+ or NFL+ Premium subscription at the then-current full price.
Can I cancel my subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic without canceling NFL+? Y
Yes. You can cancel your subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic at any time and retain your NFL+ or NFL+ Premium subscription. Visit the "Manage Subscriptions" page in your NFL.com account to cancel. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to have access to NFL Reporting from The Athletic until then. Once you cancel, you cannot withdraw the cancellation or resume the subscription during the remainder of that billing period. After the billing period ends, you may resubscribe to NFL Reporting from The Athletic by visiting https://id.nfl.com/select-subscription?p=athletic.
Can I cancel my NFL+ subscription without cancelling my subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic?
No. You cannot cancel your subscription to NFL+ or NFL+ Premium and retain your subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic. The NFL Reporting from The Athletic subscription cannot exist as a standalone subscription.
I have NFL Reporting from The Athletic and I cancelled my NFL+ subscription. Can I change my mind and restore my NFL+ subscription before my billing period ends?
No. If you have NFL Reporting from The Athletic, once you cancel your NFL+ or NFL+ Premium subscription, you cannot withdraw the cancellation or resume either your NFL+ subscription or your NFL Reporting from The Athletic subscription during the remainder of the applicable billing period. After the billing period ends, you may resubscribe to NFL+ and NFL Reporting from The Athletic by visiting plus.NFL.com.
What happens to my subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic if I cancel my NFL+ subscription?
Canceling your NFL+ or NFL+ Premium subscription will automatically terminate your subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic. The NFL Reporting from The Athletic subscription cannot exist as a standalone subscription.
I cancelled NFL Reporting from The Athletic and then upgraded my NFL+ subscription before the cancellation took effect. Why did I receive two cancellation emails for NFL Reporting from The Athletic?
If you cancel your subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic and then, before that cancellation takes effect, upgrade your NFL+ subscription (for example, from NFL+ monthly to NFL+ Premium monthly), our system may generate more than one cancellation confirmation email for NFL Reporting from The Athletic. Receiving multiple cancellation emails does not affect the validity of your cancellation request. Your cancellation will remain in effect and will be processed at the end of your current billing period as originally scheduled.
Does a subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic give me access to The Athletic website or app, or to The New York Times?
No. A subscription to NFL Reporting from The Athletic provides access only to selected NFL-related articles from The Athletic on certain NFL platforms. It does not grant access to The Athletic (theathletic.com), The New York Times (nytimes.com), or any other third-party platforms. Your NFL credentials cannot be used to log in to those services.
I already subscribe to The Athletic or The New York Times. Can I use those credentials to access content from NFL Reporting from The Athletic on NFL platforms?
No. The Athletic and The New York Times subscriptions are separate products. Your credentials for The Athletic and The New York Times cannot be used to access NFL platforms or to access content from The Athletic, The New York Times or NFL Reporting from The Athletic on NFL platforms. Each subscription is maintained independently.
