I can’t create an account & end up on a screen with a vague message about being “ineligible”.

Fans who are trying to sign up for an NFL account might encounter issues after completing the sign up form if they accidentally entered an incorrect date of birth.  Our system is designed to prevent underage users from creating accounts. Users under 13 in the US, and users under 18 internationally are not allowed to create an NFL account.
