Currently, fans can leverage a Google and/or Apple account when signing in to an existing NFL account, here: https://id.nfl.com/account/sign-in. Beginning in 2024, we will remove this capability, following the removal of Facebook auth in October of 2023. If you have an NFL account that was created with a Google, Apple or Facebook account, you will need to create a password that you can use in the future when signing in. A password can be created on this page: https://id.nfl.com/account/create-password.

Q: What email address should I use if I have Apple Private Relay enabled?
A: When a fan creates an account with Private Relay enabled within their Apple ID settings, we store only the anonymized email address we receive from Apple (ex. fjdn4ftzsk@privaterelay.appleid.com). In addition to creating a password, these fans will also need to update the email address we have in our system, which can occur on either the Create Password page mentioned above) or on the Edit profile page.
Q: I am getting an error message saying that my personal email address I am trying to update is already in use.
A: If you get this error, it is possible one of the following is happening:
You may have this email address associated with the account you are trying to update. You can verify if this is the case by proceeding with the creation of your new password only, and then signing in with that new password and your preferred email address. Just note that our system may still show the initial email address. To permanently remove the unwanted email address, please contact customer care.
You may have already created a separate account with this email address. If this is the case, click the "Forgot Password" link on the Sign-in page to trigger the reset password email to that email address.
Q: I created a new password and now I am experiencing issues on a league or club native app.
A: All native apps that use an NFL account are required to sign the user out if their password is updated, and this includes when a password is created for the first time. If you are experiencing issues in the native app, make sure you are signed in. If issues persist, try deleting the app and re-installing. If issues continue, please reach out to our customer care team and let them know if you have recently created or changes your password.
